We were in town for a conference and were told to go here by a local, and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was old school Italian vibe with a home-y feel. The staff were all super welcoming and informative. We ordered wine and an aperol spritz, and both were great. We also got the garlic bread, and I highly recommend. I ordered the lasagna and it was HUGE. Everything we tried was delicious, and you could tell the pasta was fresh. We got in with no wait, but it's a smaller place so you might need to wait if you have a bigger party! Also it is CASH ONLY so know that before going!!

**CASH ONLY** The food was so delicious! We ordered octopus carpaccio, garlic bread with homemade chili oil and olives for appetizers. The olives were soaked in fragrant extra virgin olive oil. The octopus was savory and topped with chopped pistachio. I ordered the pappardelle with mushroom, spinach and a generous amount of parmesan for my entree. We ended the night with tiramisu that melted in your mouth. The staff was very friendly but service was on the slower side because of how busy the restaurant was on a Thursday night. We tried a few times to flag down the waiter. They turn off the music and sing happy birthday to the tables that were celebrating. Everyone in the restaurant participated and the moments were adorable.

Food. Service. Ambience. Always on point. This is a no-fail Italian restaurant. For a date? For a family dinner? For an event? Nailed it. Ever-evolving, seasonal menu of expertly prepared dishes from exquisite ingredients, even the picky eaters will be happy. I have been going to this restaurant for years and I will not stop raving about it. Never leave disappointed. The service is impeccable and polite even on the busiest nights and I have NEVER seen this restaurant empty. It's a very popular local spot for a reason. Try their seafood dishes for a real treat!

This is the whispered favorite restaurant of everyone in the neighborhood. Cash-only, no reservations, takeout only when they feel like it. But the food...my goodness. If you can resist the delicious pastas, the mains might be even better. Particularly recommend whatever fresh fish. Don't expect everything to be drowned in cheese and red sauce... Ambiance is a little random, not chic by any means, but that's not what you're here for. Mixed crowd of locals, tourists, families with young children, regulars holding up the bar.

Food is pretty good but definitely for the price point ... like average $30 per plate ... The atmosphere is really cozy and it's hormonal inside when it's cold outside. The bathrooms are very clean and very adorable.

Great pasta spot that makes you feel like you're in Italy. Lots of options here, including rotating specials so there's something for everyone! Food: We ordered family style and split the garlic bread, calamari, bucatini and linguine. I highly recommend the garlic bread -- it was a great starter and convinced me to purchase their in-house Calabrian chili oil. The calamari was also lightly fried and not too oily, so it doesn't sit heavily. Service: the hostess was incredibly sweet and sat everyone as quickly as possible. We went on a warm Saturday evening so the place was crowded, but she did a great job of seating everyone according to their preferences. Our waiter was also very engaging and checked in on us often. Insider tips: cash only! So be prepared for that. They also sell their Calabrian chili oil you can take home for $20. Good for: date nights, impressing out of towners. A more intimate setting so I don't recommend it as much for large groups.

This is a really intimate and cozy restaurant in Brooklyn for home style Italian food. This was our first time here and we were lucky enough to be seated next to the windows where we could watch everyone passing by on the sidewalk and had a good view of the restaurant. Service is a little slow so don't come here with the intention of leaving under an hour. Its a spot for good friends and conversation, definitely not for a quick bite or business meal. Please note that this restaurant is cash only. There is an ATM down the street at the convenience store if you forget on your way over (We may or may not know that fact because we forgot until we were a block away). Everything we had was fantastic and their wine selection was pretty good. Our favorite parts of the meal were definitely the main course. We highly recommend the tagliatelle. Super yummy and decent portion sizes.

Once again even after years, Noodle Pudding never disappoints. Get here early for a table with no wait and expect great service and delicious food at reasonable prices. $5 house wine. And it's good. Wonderful focaccia with soppresata and mozzarella. The bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ask for a bit of olive oil!! Pastas all look good but we chose the salmon with escarole and beans (always my absolute favorite) and chicken scarpariello that was very good in a brown sauce with potatoes. Dessert was affogatto with a biscotti and what more could you want ? Cash only. And we'll be back.
